Aregbesola, Others Get Relief As President Buhari Suspends Deductions

The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun had during her reports to the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting said President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the suspension of monthly deduction at source for this month, and no such deductions would be made this month from the FAAC allocations to the States

According to Adeosun: "Regarding the salary assistance loans, the Finance Minister informed Council that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the suspension of monthly deduction at source for this month, and no such deductions would be made this month from the FAAC allocations to the States."

"This is meant by the President to give the States some financial relief at a time the FAAC allocations are dwindling due to the drop in oil prices."

· The Vice President, Prof. Osinbajo during the NEC meeting added that the President will continue to review the situation of the States on an ongoing basis and take appropriate relief measures as necessary and possible.

Alh Shuaib Oyedokun Leads Osun PDP Reconciliation Committee to Aggrieved Members

Ahead of the August 9th Governorship pool in Osun state, the Osun PDP reconciliation committee led by Alh Shuaib Oyedokun has commence moving around to plead with the aggrieved members of the party.

The committee today visited Hon. Wole Oke who is one of the Governorship candidates of the party who contested and looses with sen. Akinlabi Olasunkanmi at the party's primary against the party's flag bearer, Sen. Iyiola Omisore.

The All Progressive Congress, APC, is battle ready to devour any adversary come August 9th election as it is evidently clear that it will be very easy for a donkey to pass through the eye of a needle than for opposition to wrestle power from the Aregbesola led administration in Osun state.

The location was filled with pandemonium and violence and INEC indicted him.

Ayodele Fayose, was a former governor of Ekiti state while Senator Iyiola omisore was a former deputy governor of osun state


While Fayose join politics in 2001 Omisore has been in politics since Gen. Sani Abacha days.


Former Governor Fayose was impeached likewise Omisore was impeached as deputy governor.


Fayose as a governor, allegedly mastermind the killing of Ayo Daramola, omisore as deputy governor was also alleged to have mastermind the killing of the Attorney of the Federation and Minister of Justics, Chief bola ige.


Fayose insulted traditional rulers including ewi of Ado, omisore vow never to respect any Oba again in his life.
Fayose insulted Governor Segun oni, Omisore went to his boss Bisi Akande office with gun and threat to kill him.

Osun shuts 4 private schools in Osogbo

(NAN) Aregbesola led administration in  Osun State has on Thursday shut four private schools in Osogbo, the state capital, for operating illegally.

 The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Lawrence Oyeniran made this known to the public in a statement.

Cornerstone Model College, Riverside International School, Treasure Group of Schools and Greater Love Nursery and Primary School are the affected schools, all in Osogbo.
