Senator representing Borno Central, Senator Ahmed Zanna , today confirmed that 217 people were killed by the Islamist Boko Haram Terrorists in the state between Thursday evening and early hours of Friday morning.
According to him, Sixty people were killed in Kala Balge, seven teachers died at a college in Dikwa and there were 150 deaths in three other villages in the state, he said.
Among those killed in Kala Balge were students who were preparing to write their UTME exams, another sources added.

The Senator emphatically insisted that insurgent group Boko Haram killed 217 people as the Islamists raided five Borno villages in the country’s northeastern region yesterday.
The Five years old insurgents in northeastern Nigeria have killed more than 4,000 people and forced almost 500,000 to flee their homes, despite the state of emergency rule declared by President Goodluck Jonathan last year may to fight the Boko Islamist fighters and stop their violent religion campaign to impose Shariah, or Islamic law, in the country.
