Boko Haram's 'Target For Death' List: The Following People To Die Soonest; IBB, Buhari Among
The security agencies have ordered the restrictions into the movement of some Nigerians who are currently the prime targets of the Boko Haram Islamist Jihadists in the country.

The security sources revealed that on the Boko Haram's 'target for death' list are eminent personalities which includes the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar, former-President Shehu Shagari, former military President Ibrahim Babangida, former Head of State Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar and others.

The security "protective" restriction will also cover prominent emirs, governors, former-governors, ministers, former-ministers and some highly-placed Nigerians, and that the concerned individuals are to depend on travel approval and advisory from state security apparatus before visiting any part of the Northeast – the birth place of the Boko Haram sects, the headquarters of trouble spots in country which has claimed thousands of lives.

It was also gathered that where visits are inevitable, security will be strengthened to guarantee the passage of such personalities. This followed threats by Boko Haram to attack Gen. Babangida and a former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari in soonest time. The sect are also desperately targeting the Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his Borno State counterpart, Kashim Shettima, a former Governor of Kano State, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero and the Shehu of Borno.

Sources further disclosed that the movement restriction is in form of travel advisory and is part of new security proactive measures to check Islamist insurgents who can hit any target, buttressing that the killing of Gen. Muhammadu Shuwa, the attacks on the Emir of Kano and Shehu of Borno and others have made this restriction imperative.

For any of those on the security monitoring list against to travel to any part of the Northeast region, intelligence and security reports will determine clearance by security agencies, and as for the likes of governors, adequate security protections will be mount-up for easier passage.

This is not to compromise their fundamental human rights to freedom of movement, but that the security agencies do not want the VIPs to be caught in the crossfire between troops and the Islamist insurgents. Citing Senator Ali Ndume whose convoy was sighted by Military Air Force jet fighters.
