Notwithstanding the obstacles, he said ” a considerable portion of these ((looted assets) are at different stages of recovery in different jurisdictions.
For Nigerians waiting to hear President Buhari read out the list of looters and what they stole, President Buhari deferred the fulfilment of the expectation for another day.
According to him, the full details of the status and categories of the assets will now be published by the Ministry of Information, headed by Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and updated periodically.
“When forfeiture formalities are completed these monies will be credited to the treasury and be openly and transparently used in funding developmental projects and the public will be informed.
