PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE'S RETIRMENT: WHO WANTS TO WEAKEN THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA?

''THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE - JOHN 8:32

1. Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Nigeria was established by the PDP Administration of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011

(1. Luke 8:17 - For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.)

2. The Report of the Council was relied upon by President Jonathan to suspend Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Feb. 20th 2014. Wailers PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode and Ayodele Fayose never saw anything wrong with that.

Nigeria Police: Why we seal off Emir's Palace

The Nigeria police are laying siege on the palace of the Emir of Kano to prevent miscreants from looting the facility, the Kano state Commissioner of Police, Aderele Shinaba has said.

The Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, had, in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, accused President Jonathan of deploying police officers to seal off the palace to prevent the new emir, Lamido Sanusi, from moving in.

Sharareporters reports that the Nigerian police have been ordered to arrest the newly-crowned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, on fraud-related charges stemming from his tenure as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Adding that the Presidency sources in Abuja indicates that the team of policemen at the Emir’s palace in Kano received the order from the Nigeria police headquarters to place Mr. Sanusi under arrest if he leaves the Kano Governor’s lodge.

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan & Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Finally Meets Again ?

Even as their supporters are mindlessly attacking one another we are likely to see similar pictures soon of GEJ at the Emir’s Palace in Kano or, more likely, of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi in Aso Villa, laughing and letting bygones be bygones.

Like all traditional rulers, an Emir needs government patronage (especially the President’s) in order to keep up the impression of associative power and potent prestige. And like all politicians a President needs to be seen as friendly with traditional rulers (especially with Emirs in hierarchical Nigerian North) to keep up the impression of being a man of the people in all corners of Nigeria.

NIGER DELTA MILITANT, ASARI DOKUBO CALLS NEW EMIR OF KANO A DOG ( photo )

Ex- Niger Delta militant and leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF) Mujahid Asari Dokubo has described the new Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as a dog.

Asari took to his Facebook page to post a photo of a turbaned dog with the caption, "This is how I see Sanusi Lamido Sanusi."

He also tweeted a congratulatory message to the All Progressive Congress, APC on their new Emir while also wondering if the late Emir died a natural death.

Asari is one of the supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan's government, which Sanusi is at loggerheads with.

It could be recalled that in February, the leader of the outlawed Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force said that his kinsmen in the oil-rich belt would foment trouble if President Jonathan failed to secure a second term ticket in the 2015 presidential election.

Asari is always in the news for one thing or the other, from declaring there will be war if Boko Haram sect dares him and his men, to declaring that the abduction of Chibok schoolgirls is a scam.

He even staged an anti ‪#‎BringBackOurGirls‬ protest to show he's not convinced about the abduction of schoolgirls in Chibok community, Borno by Boko Haram terrorists on April 14 2014.

Leadership - His Royal Highness Sanusi Lamido Sanusi by Sam Nda Isaiah

I would like to preface the column today with a condolence message to the people of Kano over the death of Alhaji Ado Bayero, the 56th Emir of Kano. HRH Bayero had an eventful tenure; he will be remembered as a very respectable traditional ruler. He maintained his dignity throughout his reign and was never involved in any scandal that could have undermined the traditional institution. He made friends all over the nation and even across the world. May his soul rest in peace.

The king is dead, long live the king. And now the 57th Emir. Is it not poetic that Sanusi Lamido Sanusi would become the 57th emir of Kano? Indeed, “Dia ris God o!”, if you know what I mean. If Jonathan had known God’s plan, he would not have created this embarrassment for himself by giving himself the power to “remove” a CBN governor even when the law was clear about this. And, to make matters worse, the president did it to silence someone who dared to challenge the mindless stealing, the type that this nation had never seen, in his government. But all that is by the way. Jonathan will see more of this type of poetic justice in due course. That is usually the fate of all leaders who see their offices as an opportunity to commit serial injustices.

FASHOLA CONGRATULATES NEW EMIR OF KANO, SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), has congratulated the newly elected Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, on his ascendance of the exalted position.

The Governor wished the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor long and fruitful reign as he assumed office as the 57th Emir and hoped that his emergence would further cement the long standing bond between the people of Kano and their brothers and sisters in Lagos and across the country with whom, he said, they have been living in peace and harmonious relationship.

Fashola noted that the election was a deserving feat for the former CBN helmsman who has endeared himself to the Nigerian public for his brilliance, courage, professionalism and tact, saying his tenure as CBN boss was very eventful and quite useful to moving the country forward.

In Nigeria, Corruption Reeks! A Nation Bleeding On Many Fronts - Faseyiku

This is what the NY Times had to say about the criminal administration in Nigeria in response to the abduction of 279 of my fellow citizens, all of them young girls about to write their secondary school examinations:
"Mr. Jonathan, who leads a corrupt government that has little credibility, initially played down the group’s threat and claimed security forces were in control. It wasn’t until Sunday, more than two weeks after the kidnappings, that he called a meeting of government officials, including the leader of the girls’ school, to discuss the incident." The most important issue on the front burner of the Nigerian administration is how to return back and re-unite these young women with their families.

But there are still pending issues.
