Northern Governors Travel To USA To Seek Help To Stop Boko Haram

Nigerian Northern Governors have travelled to the United States of America to seek help and stop the Boko Haram insurgency.

The Islamists Boko Haram  Group that have constitutes itself to be a major vampire devouring both men of the Nigeria security agencies and the civilians mostly in the Northern region of the country. 
The dreaded Islamist group have killed many  people since 2009 including Christians and Muslim.


Northern Governors amounting to thirteen in number were in an eight hour meeting in the United States Peace Institute and the State Department in Washington DC and also consulted with government representatives from U.S, Norway and Denmark. The meeting will continue today and probably tomorrow, high on their agenda was the Boko Haram insurgency and the governors sought investment so as to boost education and economic opportunities for their local indigines.
The governors believe that with the proper education they can stop youths from joining the terrorist sect and value their lives.
Among the governors in attendance were Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Kashim Shetttima (Borno) and Murtala Nyako (Adamawa) , Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara), Saidu Dakingari (Kebbi), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi) and Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano).

Turkish Airlines has also been alleged of shipping arms to the Nigeria Boko Haram militants, a leaked telephone conversation between an assistant executive of Turkish Airlines and an advisor to the Prime Minister of Turkey has revealed that the Turkish carrier has allegedly been shipping weapons to groups in Nigeria, which is currently battling terrorism and repeated deadly attacks orchestrated by the Boko Haram and other groups in northern Nigeria.
The Turkish PM has dismissed most of the tapes as "vile" fakes put together by rivals
The  incriminating phone call which emerged on Tuesday, according to a report by the AFP, is the latest blow to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has been hit by a corruption probe ensnaring his key allies and a widening phone-tapping scandal.
