HAPPENING NOW: IGP meeting with Zonal AIGs at FHQ #Abuja On How to end Terrorism and Herdsmen Killings

The Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force {IGP}, Mohammed Abubakar is currently in a meeting with Zonal AIGs at Force Headquarters in Abuja brainstorming on challenges of terrorism, herdsmen and farmers clash, and other security challenges facing the country.

The Islamist fundamentalist, Boko Haram Group has refused to dialogue with the federal government with like never to end continuous killing in the North-Eastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, attacking both the security personnel and cruel killings of the innocent civilians.

The Fulani Herdsmen in Benue has also claimed many live, with the killing in many villages. Weekend deadly and separate attacks in both Benue and Borno States claimed at least 90 people with many others injured.


Fifty five people were killed in Benue state, yesterday, in one of the bloodiest clashes between Tiv youths and suspected Fulani mercenaries at Gbajimba, the headquarters of Guma Local Government Area of the state, while another 35 persons died when Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by Boko Haram terrorists exploded at market square in Ngurosoye village of Bama council area of Borno State.

Previously the Insurgents attacked the military formations in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, Numbers of casualty were very numerous.

Police and other security agencies must complement the Army to wave away all the terrorists' activities in all part of the county.
