FG delegation led by the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Aba Kyari visited Maiduguri to commiserate with the Governor of Borno State over the unfortunate accidental killing of some innocent civilians at Rann in Kala Balge, Borno State.
The delegation include, Minister of Defence, Brig Gen Mansur Dan-Ali (rtd); Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed; Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Tukur Buratai and Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar.
The delegation was received on arrival at the 105 Composite Group, Nigerian Air Force Base Yola by the Theatre Commander OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE, Maj Gen Lucky Irabor.
Alhaji Aba Kyari, on behalf of the President and Commander-in-Chief, Muhammadu Buhari commiserated with the Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima on the unfortunate incidence. The delegation also paid a condolence visit to the Shehu of Dikwa, Muhammad Ibn Shehu and UNFPA.
The delegation similarly visited the victims of the incidence who are receiving medical treatment at the Federal Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri.
The delegatjon is scheduled to visit State Governor Kashim Shettima, Shehu of Borno Abubakar GarbaI Al Amin El Kanem, and the hospitals where those injured from the bombing are being treated.
