Reports has it that the aircraft is believed to be on its way back to Nigeria from a C-Check, maintenance check, when it lost contact in Ganla and crashed.
The two occupants of the plane, the pilot and the co pilot survived the crash.
The co pilot was Capt Jamil Abubakar, the first son of IGP MD Abubakar, the current Inspector General Nigeria Police Force. When the Police boss was contacted, he confirmed the incident, saying he was full of gratitude to God for preserving the life of the pilot and his son the co pilot.
